Honesty is important to us, we always strive for fairness, and that's why we're providing this contract template for our customers.
This agreement includes all the details of the understanding between, Droneologist, and you as the Client. It covers everything from our work together to payment arrangements.
QUOTATIONS & PRICING
Droneologist will honour prices provided in written quotations with a Droneologist reference number, provided to clients by Droneologist upon request. All of these quotes are valid for 30 days from the date listed on the quotation.
Droneologist will require a confirmation of order before proceeding with any planning and/or flights. A confirmation can be sent via email, text message, or WhatsApp. Such confirmations will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
SCHEDULING & DELAYS
Droneologist strives to adhere to agreed schedules whenever it's possible, but we'll always prioritise safety and following local regulations (as well as other considerations). Timelines will naturally be adaptable. Droneologist is committed to the agreed timelines and will not accept any changes. We expect all work to be completed within the given timeframe. Should any extra days be required, an invoice will be sent to the client at our full rate, as per the contract.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS
Droneologist offers a '30 day payment period' from the date of an invoice. Payment must be received and cleared with Droneologist by this date to avoid late payment charges.
Droneologist reserves the right to request a deposit in advance if deemed necessary. The deposit will be refundable at the discretion of Droneologist.
Payments are preferred by Bank transfer or PayPal.
Any payment or balance outstanding after the ‘30 day payment period’, from the specified date on the invoice will be considered a late payment and will be subject to a late payment charge of 10% and, it will also incur an admin fee of £50.
POSTPONEMENTS (INCLUDING WEATHER)
Droneologist may need to postpone a job for various operating reasons to ensure legality of operation and safety. Our Drones cannot be flown in winds more than 23 MPH or Rain.
If Droneologist is forced to postpone a booking, we will work with the Client to agree a suitable substitute date, without any additional charges. Droneologist will not take any responsibility for additional costs involved from 3rd parties.
Requests for postponements by the Client must be received by Droneologist, 7 days prior to a planned flight operation and may incur an admin charge to recover any expenses incurred if any preparatory work has been completed by Droneologist on behalf of the Client.
Droneologist will not honour a request for postponement from the Client on the basis of weather, unless Droneologist agrees that the weather is not suitable for a safe flight.
It is not the policy of Droneologist to cancel any booking other than for reasons beyond the control of Droneologist. The Client will not be charged if Droneologist cancels a booking, but Droneologist accepts no responsibility for any additional costs associated with any third parties.
Droneologist must receive notice of cancellation from the Client at least 28 days in advance of any planned flight operation.
In the event of a cancellation, Droneologist may incur an administrative charge to recover expenses incurred on behalf of the Client. Droneologist reserves the right to require full payment if cancellations are received less than 14 days prior to any planned flight operation date.
